Charming double rooms with cozy decor make it easy to feel right at home while being surrounded by historic architecture. The location provides a quaint atmosphere, complete with church bells that add character, especially during the day.
Weekend musings can be a bit lively with noise echoing from the pub, which might not sit well with light sleepers, but weekdays offer a much quieter vibe. Those church bells ring every 15 minutes and can surprise you at night, although they were quite charming during daylight hours—a double-edged sword for some.

I had a lovely stay with a good range of orange juice and biscuits waiting for me in my room. The pain au chiclet was a nice surprise! The garden area and cozy leisure room were perfect spots to unwind after a long day. Just a heads up, some of the breakfast bars were a bit past their prime, so maybe check the dates. 😊

The location is truly wonderful, set in a picturesque village with friendly staff who made check-in a breeze. The room, while compact, was impeccably clean, warm, and provided a comfortable bed. Breakfast included a convenient porridge cup and fresh fruit, perfect for a quick morning grab. the bathroom was quite basic and the breakfast selection felt limited, lacking variety beyond just a few items. Noise from the nearby pub wasn't an issue, but the overall simplicity of the amenities left something to be desired.

The charming village location is picturesque, and the room, while basic, was clean and warm with a comfortable bed. Enjoying the church's chimes added to the experience. the dim lighting made getting ready a bit tricky, and the limited breakfast options could be improved.

Quiet and Comfortable Stay
I enjoyed a peaceful night in the Double Room. Although no food is served onsite, Long Melford offers delightful dining options nearby. The room's charm pleasantly overshadowed minor cleanliness issues. Future guests should explore delivery options in advance for meals.

Wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.
